The ATN Night Shadow comes standard with the cutting edge "Smart" technology. This technology consists of a computerized proximity sensor, digital controls and a long-range Infrared Illuminator. The proximity sensor will automatically turn the unit on and off when it is brought to the viewing position. This helps to save your battery life and the life of the unit itself. The digital controls allow you to activate all of the features of the ATN Night Shadow with an easy push of a button. A powerful Infrared Illuminator is built into the Scope. This allows you to see even in total darkness with outstanding clarity.
For Camping, Boating, Nature study, or Law Enforcement, there is simply no better Bi-ocular Night Vision Device on the market.

The device has the typical sensitivity of the first generation, but it is better than most other devices in this price range in terms of the edge sharpness. An IR spotlight is built in. Two 1/4 inch threads allow connection to a tripod. A CR123A type battery is included in delivery and is good for around 50 hours of continuous operation. Replacement batteries are available from photographic shops.
