Less hefty than the Atlas, but with the same drive motors, electronic features, and functionality, the Sirius EQ-G supports up to a 30-lb. load for all your visual or astrophotographic applications. It accepts either a GoTo or a dual-axis (non-GoTo) hand controller, depending on your needs. With the GoTo option, the Sirius EQ-G makes a terrific upgrade into the high-tech realm of effortless, electronic object acquisition! Select from among 42,900 celestial objects using the intuitive menus on the hand controller, or take a tour of the finest celestial showpieces. The internal dual-axis stepper motors slew your telescope at up to 3.4-deg per second. Includes an illuminated polar-axis scope, 8.3" dovetail mounting bar, and one 11-lb. counterweight. The tripod is remarkably sturdy, as evidenced by the 1.75"-diameter stainless steel legs and cast-metal spreader plate.

LET OP

Schroef NOOIT beide stelschroeven voor de breedtegraad van uw montering tegelijkertijd vast. U loopt het risico dat de schroeven in het interieur van uw montering vervormd raken. Hierdoor zouden ze uit de montering moeten worden gehaald, wat de bedrading binnenin uw montering eveneens kan beschadigen.

Het gaat om verchroomde schroeven aan de voet van de montering. Ze hebben een hendelvormige kop en zijn relatief lang.

Om schade te vermijden, dient u de volgende instructies te volgen:

Draai de schroef een beetje los die tegenover de schroef staat die u wilt vastschroeven
Til de contragewichtstang op om het gewicht van de montering op de schroef die u wilt vastdraaien te verlichten

Indien u deze instructies volgt, zult u bijdragen aan de duurzaamheid van uw montering.

Skywatcher is changing the interface on the newest version of the EQ-6 mount. You can find out here which EQMOD cable you require depending on which version of EQ-6 you have. If your mount has a DB9 interface (also known as a serial port, as found on older computers), these are the suitable EQMOD cables:

If you purchased your EQ-6 recently and it has the new interface panel (along with an RJ-45 male connector, similar to the EQ-6-R or the AZ-EQ-6), the cables listed below should fit this new version of the EQ-6. If your mount already has a USB interface on the panel, you do not need an additional cable. Simply identify the COM port using the device manager and set the baud rate to 115200. If you are in doubt, send us a picture of your mount's interface panel by email.
