Optics – System H2

Vantage HD 8x34
The Hawke Vantage HD 8x34 combines versatile 8x magnification with a brighter 34 mm objective lens, making it an excellent choice for nature observation, birdwatching, hiking and travel. Its combination of moderate weight and increased objective size provides an excellent balance between portability and viewing comfort.
A wide field of view of 124 metres at 1,000 metres provides an excellent overview and makes it easier to locate and follow moving subjects. The 4.3 mm exit pupil also delivers a pleasantly bright image, making the binocular more versatile when observing in less favourable lighting conditions.
A close focus distance of 3 metres allows detailed observation of nearby subjects. With 17 mm of eye relief and twist-up eye cups, the binocular provides comfortable viewing. Despite its larger objective lenses, it remains pleasantly lightweight at 430 grams, making it well suited to extended observation sessions and longer days outdoors.
