The zoom eyepiece 8 -24mm: No eyepieces
The Omegon Super Zoom LE has a range of focal lengths from 8 -24mm. That means it covers a wide range of magnifications and saves you the hassle of having to continually change eyepieces. It is perfectly suited to a multitude of purposes, not just astronomy. For example, you could use it in a small travel telescope or use it together with an Amici prism as a scope for nature watching.
Excellent optical quality
The lens elements inside a zoom lens achieve the desired magnification with high optical quality via complex interaction. The contrast and sharpness are maintained throughout the entire zoom range. The eyepiece additionally provides you with a flat image field. High-end coatings on all free lens surfaces ensure a pleasurable observing experience.
Comfortable to use: long eye relief
Enjoy a comfortable 17mm of eye relief. Because you don't have to press your eye against the zoom eyepiece to see properly, observing is particularly relaxed. Spectacle wearers also benefit from the generous eye relief and can take in the entire field of view.
Rotation for correct eye relief
The twist-up eye cups can be brought into the desired position by simply rotating them. Everyone has a preferred eye relief, so you can choose between 4 different setting heights.
Elegant finish but nevertheless practical
Close attention has been paid to the quality of the exterior finish of the eyepiece. After all, you are entitled to many years of enjoyment with this eyepiece. The main body is constructed entirely of black anodized aluminium. Non-slip rubber armour is provided to ensure a good grip under all conditions. Extreme dew? A surprise shower? Omegon LE eyepieces are waterproof and moisture cannot form internally. And in winter, in the freezing cold, with gloves on? Of course, even then, you can hold the eyepiece just as securely.
